The School is delighted to announce a limited number of travel awards for students who are interested in exploring the possibility of doctoral studies at the School.

Though applications for all other Mind & Brain topics will be considered as well, this year we are particularly hoping for applications by students with an interest in: Consciousness and attention.
The award will cover travel expenses and accommodation for four nights.
APPLICATIONS

Please send:
(1) A short one- to two-page letter of motivation (detailing your reasons for applying for the travel award, your background and research interests);
(2) Your academic CV;
(3) A letter of recommendation (letters of recommendation can be sent directly to the above named e-mail address).

Deadline for applications: 15 August 2015
Successful applicants will be invited to visit the School from 27 till 31 October 2015. They will have ample opportunities to meet with faculty and doctoral candidates, establish contacts relevant for their research interest, see the School’s facilities and get a better sense of the city itself.
ELIGIBILITY
In order to be eligible for this award you need to meet the basic eligibility criteria for applying to the School’s doctoral program in 2016; in particular you need to have completed or be in the process of completing a Master’s or equivalent degree in an area of study relevant to the School.
