4th Mind, Brain & Body Symposium

Part of Brain Awareness Week 2016

On behalf of the Mind-Brain Institute, we are pleased to welcome for the fourth year already all interested young researchers to participate and present at the Mind, Brain & Body Symposium (MBB) that takes place this year on 15-16 March 2016 in Berlin, Germany in the framework of the International Brain Awareness Week (14-18 March 2016).

We are happy to welcome young researchers, PostDocs, PhD and Master Students in the domain of neuroscience, cognitive neuroscience, behavioral and social sciences who are invited to submit abstracts to present a talk or a poster in one or more of the following categories:

(a) emotion & stress
(b) stroke & cognition
(c) perception & consciousness
(d) neuroanatomy & connectivity

The symposium program includes keynote lectures, workshops, presentations and a poster session, as well as MBE-Youth Scientific Award. PhD students can earn ECTS credit points by presenting a talk or a poster during the symposium. Attendance without presentation is possible. Previously presented posters are also welcomed.
MBB-Youth Scientist Award
This year we have a MBB-Youth Scientist Award which will provide you with the opportunity of a funded research stay at Mind-Brain Institute or at the Max Planck Institute Human Cognitive and Brain Sciences in Leipzig (MPI CBS Leipzig). If you want to be considered for the MBB-Youth Scientist Award, please add a project idea (in the domain of MBB) to be performed in a 3-month period.
